Brient Mayfield
Brient’s career includes over 40 years of innovation in three industries: dairy, advertising and media, and computer hardware and software technology. Brient began his career at Mayfield Dairy Farms, a successful family dairy products company where he also served on its Board of Directors until the company was sold to Dean Foods in 1991. Brient's technology companies developed computer systems for food product formulation, process control, financial management, and route optimization. Brient also co-founded 13-30 Corporation, the predecessor to Whittle Communications. At Whittle Communications, Brient was Vice President and Publisher of the magazine, Tennessee Illustrated. Brient founded Optimal Answers, and the Optimal family of innovative decision optimization software solutions is his vision. Brient has a Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Manufacturing from The University of Tennessee.
Michael Sims
Michael is an award-winning enterprise software and Software as a Service sales executive. With a BA in Computer Information Systems and a MBA from Georgia State University, he has over 25 years of experience in developing, deploying and selling strategic solutions to Fortune 500 companies as well as small and mid-market organizations. As a sales executive with Oracle Corporation as well as Oracle Partners, Michael’s career has focused on enterprise resource planning, database technologies and advanced decision support solutions. In addition, Michael has extensive experience with entrepreneurial endeavors that achieve significant revenue and resource growth. Excited about the advances occurring in decision support and artificial intelligence, Michael joined Optimal Answers to lead a team of sales and sales operation professionals to propel the next generation of automated decision support solutions focused on automated decision optimization software.
Lisa Buckley
Lisa brings multi-disciplined, global expertise and a track record of success to the marketing executive role. With a career positioned at the intersection of technology and business, her capabilities span marketing, communications, enterprise software development and delivery, program management, process improvement and management and change consulting. With over 10 years of marketing leadership experience, she has helped Fortune 500 and small- to medium- sized businesses advance their market positioning, organizational capability and service excellence. She has done this not only through the development and execution of holistic, integrated product strategy and marketing activities but also through the delivery of desired business outcomes, bottom line growth and measurable results. Lisa received a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science, Decision Support Systems from Virginia Tech and a MBA in International Business and Organizational Learning from George Mason University.
Carlo Davila
Carlo brings expertise in data science, quantitative methods, mathematical modeling, data mining, statistical analysis and optimization to Optimal Answers. He blends his expertise and business acumen to deliver unique solutions that include: innovative software, scientific research, business value insights and strategy, development of best practices, supply chain optimization, forecasting, and predictive and prescriptive analytics. With more than 10 years of proven leadership experience, Carlo leads a talented team of designers, engineers and developers at Optimal Answers. Carlo received a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics and a Master's degree in Production Systems from Tecnológico de Monterrey. In addition, Carlo received a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and a PhD in Supply Chain from the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology.
